Disparity is economic or regional differences within a province, state, country, or continent.
For example, there is a disparity in education between countries of different custom and cultures. In some cultures, the role of the female is often of a mother or to stay at home. Therefore, these women do not get the oppurtunity of education. Also, those who live in poverty may not be able to afford an education.

An example of an idicator of disparity are murder rates, which also indicate poverty.

This video shows an example of children in poverty not being able to afford an education.
